We routinely read the letters to the editor.  I find them by following the link from the CourierPostOnLine.com home page under "News" and then "Opinion".

We find it interesting that articles critical of the Democrats are labeled under (No heading) where all  other letters have meaningful titles. (click here or on the image below to see a full size picture)

Influence

As the debate on countywide police moves on, the Courier-Post has reported favorably on the idea.

With the direction of the reporting, the stories should have been on the op-ed pages rather than on the actual news pages.

The Gloucester Township and Camden County Republican organizations have both released their position against countywide police, but stories on this have been not seen in the Courier Post. There have been stories about freeholders, clergy and politicians in favor of this plan, but the prepared press release by the Gloucester Township Republicans has been shuffled around the Courier-Post newsroom with no print.

The Camden County Republicans’ press conference was covered by the TV media but garnered no South Jersey newspaper coverage.

With having had George Norcross as part of the Courier-Post editorial board in the spring, has the South Jersey newspaper been affected by his “bully” type influence? Makes you wonder if Conner Strong Buckelew is gearing up to propose health care coverage for the county police?

The Courier-Post and George Norcross - perfect together.
